I'm a writer, artist, and a house-husband. (I'm that odd guy that is always working on some random project involving something creative, but hasn't quite found where he belongs, and not from lack of trying.) My other half is an IT person on third shift, so I keep the same schedule so we get to see each other as much as possible. I worked in IT for about 8 years previously, and knew that wasn't for me, so I decided to go back to my creative roots.
I was one of those people who was told to get a real job when I was a kid leaving high-school, who was told that you can't feed yourself on art, and foolishly, because I didn't know any better I listened. Being an adult has its perks though -- I only have myself to answer to at the end of the day, and now that I'm a little older and wiser, I've been exploring my potential again.
